Your web-based design program for pneumatic conveying systems: Are you planning a new pneumatic conveying system and don't know which conveying line or pressure generator is required? With this web tool, we offer you the option of dimensioning vacuum and overpressure systems. Four pneumatic calculation approaches with over 60 different bulk materials are available to you. If your bulk material is not available, you can use the Stegmaier calculation approach to estimate the pressure loss and the amount of gas depending on the pipe diameter. In addition, the tool offers you further calculation modules, such as the calculation of the settling velocity of single particles, the expansion of pipelines, the conversion from standard to operating conditions and vice versa, the calculation of the pressure and density of air depending on the altitude. You can determine the pressure losses of air pipes and bends, as well as the fluidization velocity. Finally, you can use the tool to dimension rotary valves for use in pneumatic conveying systems.
